The Camp Verde High School track and field team hosted its first meet of the season Saturday, March 24, in the seventh annual Matt Showers Memorial Invitational.
Sophomore Shelby Monroe was one of the last Cowboys to compete Saturday, finishing fourth overall in the triple jump, which gave the Cowboys the two points they needed to finish first overall. For the full story, pick up a copy of the Wednesday, March 28, edition of the Camp Verde Journal. |
