The girls of the Mingus Union High School soccer are proving just how mighty the Marauders are on the field as the season progresses.

Senior Kelby Gillies, right, celebrates her goal Saturday, Jan. 5, with teammate Nataly Escamilla during the game against Page High School. The Marauders [6-3] most recently beat the Page Sand Devils [3-6-1] 8-0 on Saturday, Jan. 5, and the Coconino Panthers [4-7] 2-0 on Monday, Jan. 7. Both games were played in front of a home crowd at Mingus Union.

“The girls played very good,” MUHS Head Coach Buddy Rhoades said. “They moved the ball around well and kept the possession of the ball.”
