Robert F. “Bob” Schmid, of Cottonwood, recently died.

He was born Dec. 30, 1930, in Everett, Wash.

He is survived by his wife Rosemary; daughter Donna (Goodman) and her five children, son David (Melanie), two children and five grandchildren:, son Gregory (Stacy) and their grandson; daughter Samantha (Ed) Kar and their two children; three sisters, one brother, one brother-in-law, one sister-in-law, 31 nieces and nephews and more than 100 great-nieces and nephews.
