Phillip Eugene Sims, 80, of Clarkdale, died Aug. 25.

Sims was preceded in death by his parents, a brother John Lewis and sister Patricia.

He leaves his wife of 57 years, Marilyn Sims; sons Jason (Liz) and Phillip; a brother Karl; sisters Edith, Barbara (Dexter) and Mary Jo; and grandsons Jonathan and Barrett.

Memorial service: Friday, Sept. 3, Verde Baptist Church, 10 a.m.

He will be interred at the Prescott National Cemetery.
