She was born March 22, 1937, in Simms, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by daughters, Peggy Dyer (Matthew) and Tracy Sexton (Tony) of Arizona; Debra Bunch (Randall) of Tennessee; sisters Doris Helgeson (Eddie) of Cottonwood and Dorothy Scott of Texas; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
