Ernest J. Moreland, 91, of Clarkdale, died June 25.

A Navy veteran, he was born March 21, 1921, in Niagara Falls, N.Y.

He is survived by his son Richard [Tamara] Moreland; grandson David Moreland; four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14, in Cottonwood Village at 5 p.m. VFW Post No. 7400 will provide military honors.
