Ernest Darrell Cummings

Ernest Darrell Cummings of Camp Verde died Feb. 2.

Born in Flint, Mich., Cummings served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a service station troubleshooter after discharge.
Cummings served many years as a living history volunteer at Fort Verde State Park.

He is survived by his wife Belma Jean Cummings; brother John Henry Cummings; four children; two stepchildren; several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial potluck barbecue will be held Sunday, March 20, at the Cummings’ home in Camp Verde.
