Don J. Helton, 84, of Cottonwood, died Jan. 20.

He was born June 25, 1926, in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, and daughter Terri.

He is survived by two sons, David Helton and Shawn Helton, both of Phoenix; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was interred at Greenwood Memory Lawn Cemetery in Phoenix.
