Dale Robert Brown, 89, a resident of Sedona and Cottonwood, died Dec. 16.

The son of Frank Brown and Elsie (McCafferty) Brown, he was born Dec. 23, 1920, in Danville, Ill.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Estelle Brown of Cottonwood, and daughter Karin Kristin (Leonard) Holmes of Francestown, N.H.

Services will be held in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Brown’s memory to a favorite charity.
