Verde Valley residents and visitors will soon have the opportunity to speed through the air over Camp Verde’s version of the Serengeti.

A tower for the new zipline at Out of Africa Wildlife Park is still under construction Saturday, April 27, in Camp Verde. The owner of the zipline hopes to have them operational by June. The zipline will carry people in some places as high as 75 feet above the ground.Towers have already been erected at the Out of Africa Wildlife Park, where organizers hope to have the new attraction open by June.

When it does open, daring visitors to the park will be able to strap themselves into a harness and sail across cables with a bird’s eye view of the park.
