A public meeting Tuesday, April 2, was held to discuss the future of the tri-intersection of Finnie Flat Road, Main Street and Montezuma Castle Highway.

The town of Camp Verde is studying the intersection of Finnie Flat Road, Montezuma Castle Highway and Main Street in hopes of improving traffic flow and the Finnie Flat Road corridor. The council held a public meeting Tuesday, April 2, to gather input. The Arizona Department of Transportation paid for a study to be conducted of the area and the Finnie Flat Road business corridor by Jacobs Engineering Group, a California-based company with an office in Phoenix.

The group had also been looking at issues with State Route 260, but abandoned that part of the study after the Camp Verde Town Council decided to work with ADOT to have a roundabout built at State Route 260 and Industrial Drive.

For the full story, see the Wednesday, April 3, edition of The Camp Verde Journal.
