Tonya Short was once asked to run for town council. She declined. Short said she doesn’t think she’d ever be cut out to deal with the requirements of politics.
While that attitude may make Short rather intractable in an argument, it’s also one that makes her passionate about the things she does believe in, such as her work for the Camp Verde Relay For Life as the team development chairperson.
