Parents and school staff gathered last Wednesday, Jan. 29, at the Phillip England Center for the Performing Arts for a special forum to discuss the pros and cons of a potential four-day school week.Bob Weir, Camp Verde High School principal, answers questions of concerned parents on the topic of four-day weeks during the Camp Verde United School District open forum on Wednesday, Feb. 29. The panel consisted of CVUSD Superintendent Amber Lee, left, Camp Verde Elementary School Principal Debi Pottorff and Camp Verde Middle School Principal Danny Howe.
A Camp Verde Unified School District leadership team fielded questions from the crowd, many of whom had concerns about the need to switch to a four-day school week with Friday being the off day.

The staff at the various schools seemed to have a majority that support the potential move, according to a survey conducted at the schools.
