Kristi Gagnon has a hard time walking into a building without looking to see how it could possibly burn down.
Gagnon is the new fire marshal at the Camp Verde Fire District, a position she started June 4. Gagnon made the move after spending six-and-a-half years with the Prescott Fire Department where she was most recently a fire inspector. What is the difference between fire marshal and fire inspector? “Well, the fire marshal is above the fire inspectors,” Gagnon said. That may be true, but in a department the size of Camp Verde, well, “it’s still a one-man show,” Gagnon said. For the full story, see the Wednesday, Aug. 1, edition of The Camp Verde Journal. |
