Democratic candidates for Arizona Legislative District 6 said education and job growth need to be a priority and over-privatization concerns them.

Democratic candidates for Arizona House of Representatives State Legislative District 6, Doug Ballard and Angela Lefevre, take turns answering questions from the audience at a League of Women Voters candidates forum at the Cottonwood Recreation Center on Saturday, Aug. 11.Angela LeFevre, of Sedona, and Doug Ballard, of Parks, answered questions Saturday, Aug. 11, at the League of Women Voters of Sedona-Verde Valley candidate forum in Cottonwood.

Republican candidates Brenda Barton, of Safford, and Bob Thorpe, of Flagstaff, did not attend the event.

Two seats are available in the Arizona House of Representatives. All four candidates advance from the primary to the general election.
