Cornville man dies in rollover

A 25-year-old Cornville man, Dawyesva Poseyesva, was killed in a car crash late Saturday, May 12.

A 25-year-old Cornville man was killed after his red Volvo went about 100 feet off the roadway and rolled at least once late Saturday, May 12.At approximately 10 p.m., Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported single-vehicle accident on Cornville Road near Mile Marker 2 in Cornville.

With the aid of a witness, deputies found the red Volvo sedan and Poseyesva underneath it and unresponsive. Emergency personnel arrived on scene and determined Poseyesva was dead.

Witnesses told deputies they had seen the Volvo traveling at a high rate of speed eastbound on Cornville Road.
