People have been asking how Cornville got its name for about as long as the town has existed. Now there is an answer — maybe.
Miller’s research is found in her “History of the Cornville Post Office,” recently published by the Cornville Historical Society. It also contains a detailed account of the history of Cornville’s post offices and postmasters through the years. For the full story, pick up a copy of the Wednesday, March 14, edition of The Camp Verde Journal or the Cottonwood Journal Extra. |
