Camp Verde has its share of big events, from Cornfest to Fort Verde Days.Sgt. Oscar Berrelez, of the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office, was one of two officers from Camp Verde who worked security at Super Bowl XLIX. The Town of Camp Verde received a clean audit for the 2013-14 fiscal year.Camp Verde received a clean report in its annual town audit. Mike Showers is the town’s finance director, and oversaw the process. ​

The fiscal year ended June 30. The results of the audit were reviewed by the Town Council at a Jan. 21 meeting.
