Linda Swanson knows a lot about getting a job.
She’s worked as vice president of an insurance company, as department head at a health management organization, and as sales consultant for time shares. Currently, she’s putting her job experience to use as a career transition consultant, helping people retiring from the military find jobs in the private sector. Swanson gives seminars to job seekers across the country, but she also has a wealth of information for job seekers in the Verde Valley. One of her top tips: Internet job searches are “a complete waste of time.” For the full story, see the Wednesday, May 9, edition of The Camp Verde Journal or the Cottonwood Journal Extra. |
